La Casa has been serving women in transition, with a specific focus on domestic violence issues, for more than thirty years.

At MEI, La Casa provides two full-time case managers and clinical supervision. Offering housing stability and emotional support services, the case management team provides advocacy, counseling and referrals to residents participating in the SHIA, Housing First and Innroads programs. The La Casa case managers also develop and facilitate a community activities program open to all residents with a focus on money management, life skills training and health education.
